文章でＵＳＰを検索する |
| |
ＵＳＰＴＯのウエブサイトで公開されているＵＳパテント（認可済みと出願１８ヶ月後のアプリケーション）を情報源として、研究開発に、抵触、侵害調査にいかに役立てるか。
「ＵＳパテント 文章解体新書」で、英語文章の構造を明確に理解できれば、文章、あるいは文章を構成しているコンポーネント単位で入力することができるようになり、知りたい対象にあの手この手で迫ることができる。
以下は、その試みの報告であり、これらを参考にして、「解体新書」の学習の延長として、さらには日々の仕事への応用に活用してもらえればありがたい。 |

１．課題解決、課題達成結果の検索
一つの課題（オブジェクト、Ｏｂｊｅｃｔ）を解決あるいは達成している「モノ」あるいは「方法」を検索する。
これは、解体新書の構造で言えば、まず以下の形が当てはまる。
構造からいえば、名詞と、それをサポートしている赤組、あるいは青組で構成される。 |

日本語で言えば「何々を（Ｏ）、解決、達成している、するための（Ｖ）、装置、方法（Ｓ）」
上図のコンポーネント（塊り）は、文章ではないが、ＳＶＯの要素をすべて持っており、これにより、上記のように、自然言語で検索対象を特定することができる。
以下において、その実施例で検討してみる。
（１）相対速度を測定する装置や方法を検索
衝突を防止する手段の一つに、走行している互いの車輌の相対速度を測定するという課題がある\r
。その課題を解決、あるいは達成している装置等を探すことにする。
（１）以下のように入力してみる
“devices to measure the relative speed”
意味はいうまでもなく：「装置（ミニＳ）／測定する（ミニＶ）／相対速度を（ミニＯ）」。
相対速度を測定するという課題を解決、達成している装置が存在するかどうか。
構造としては、「device」を「to
measure」を先頭にするサポート赤組ＶＮ（元動詞で名詞をサポート）で詳しく説明している形になる。

以下のようにサポート青組の形で該当するコンポーネントを探してくれた。
これで分かるように「to measure」を使った該当文章はなかったが、意味上は同じの「that
